I never really got on with this show. I think it's because every time I see Robert Webb's face I want to put my fist through the TV screen.

Peaked years ago to be fair, round about the time of the wedding

Bit hit and miss over the last few series. Superhand`s deserves a spin off though

The Wedding is one of the last times I had tears running down my cheeks. I'm not the sort to cry at wedding normally, but that episode nearly killed me.

Re: Peep Show
I thought the first few episodes were shit, and consequently missed a lot of the mature product, which is pretty good.

I then tried to stay with Fresh Meat, by the same writers, but I just couldn't face it after the first few.

Re: Peep Show
Personally I'd say Car Share was the best British Comedy I've seen within the past 10 years, but Peep Show isn't bad.

Still with competition such as the unfunny cunt like Mrs Browns Boys, it's not hard to find the others excellent.

Re: Peep Show
Agreed

Brilliant comedy with more great one liners than any I can remember

The episode when Jez runs over the bird's dog is GOLD

Re: Peep Show
Super Hans is an absolutely genius character, played to perfection.

Re: Peep Show
The twins. The fucking twins! I'm always going on about me twins, aren't I? How old are they? What's 'Fünf' in English? They turned fünf zwei years ago, so, what, pair of 8-ers, I reckon? Bloody love them two

You need to come and get me. I've accidentally run to Windsor. I didn't meant to, it's just the endorphins kicked in and I couldn't stop. My legs have gone, man. I'm a jelly. Paralysed. Feels fucking brilliant

You should drop acid at the funeral, makes it more intense. That’s what I did at me old man’s it was fucking mental. I was crying and laughing, didn’t know who was dead and who was alive

Re: Peep Show
Bit of trivia, Danny Dyer was first choice to play Super Hans.

Can you imagine how bad that would have gone??

Pancho 3:24 Wed Nov 11
Re: Peep Show
Russell Brand auditioned for it too and blew them away.

That could have worked in a totally different way.

Re: Peep Show
Matt King is brilliant as Super Hans. Hard to imagine anyone else doing it.

Pancho

Did he turn it down then?

Re: Peep Show
It was quite funny 8 years ago.

Best comedy for me in recent years was Nighty Night. Also think the Inbetweeners is excellent.
